For Fri’s Baby Shower she wanted something inspired by Marie Antoinette. Fri is one of those people who just brings a smile to your face anytime you see her and has a wonderful personality so she needed a cake to match. I carved the tiers of red velvet cake and then began to layer the fondant to achieve all the ruffles and drapes of fabric. One of my favorite details is how the hair whimsically twirls around on the back of the head. The entire cake is edible, face and all!
